About Your Teacher

Clint Taylor

Clint Taylor is uniquely skilled at teaching and has been promoted to the education side of almost everything he has engaged with; from teaching martial arts at a dojo while in high school, to TAing over 10 different laboratories in college and graduate school, to his current job as a curriculum writer at The DoSeum.

Keeping in line with this pattern, Clint rapidly advanced from taking his first improv class in 2018 to teaching his first improv class in 2019. He has taken improv courses from Fallout Theatre in Austin, Dad’s Garage in Atlanta, and is a graduate of Bexar Stage. Clint was part of the troupe voted best improv team in San Antonio in 2018, captained the winning Improv Royale team in 2019, and has produced multiple themed shows.

Clint has performed all over San Antonio, and has made House Party Improv his home. He can be seen performing nearly every Friday and Saturday inside Black Potion on our stage in a multitude of shows including the 80’s RPG adventure show Bellairs, TX and with his team Bachelors of Science as part of the monthly variety show Dadurday Night Live.

Through the long-form curriculum at House Party Improv, all the lessons Clint first read about in the UCB Comedy Improvisation Manual are reaching new levels of enlightenment that can only come from experience.

As your instructor, he will assure you that improv will change your life on- and off the stage, just as it has changed his.
